Features of the illustration

The sidebar includes a navigation menu to help visitors find associated pages. It also contains a boxout to to visually present key information related to the page.

The content of the page is made more interesting by including headings to divide sections, as well as a list, and a prominent call to action using a secondary color within the ClarkU palette.

The contact area should ideally be saved as a pattern. Patterns are elements that you create once and use many times. When you update a pattern, all instances on the site are updated. This makes them ideal for things like contact information, office hours, etc.
