Each face and photo is different: these are guidelines, not rules.
- Crop headshot images square.
- Imagine a tic-tac-toe grid over the image that divides it into thirds (shown below in blue).
- Center the face horizontally within the middle third.
- Center the eyes vertically on the line one third from the top.
- Resize to 720px 𝗑 720px for the website.
- Reduce the file size by adding compression when saving as jpeg. Try around 50% to start, and modify more or less depending on how the image looks.
- Use the person’s full name as alternative text.
