Quotes

Style text in a way that makes it stand out from the rest of the page.

Quotes should support the main call to action on the page, or drive home the narrative of the story. Often times, pullquotes are used in news stories or as a way to showcase student testimonials.

Make sure to adjust the size of the text within the style tab – shorter quotes can get away with larger text, while longer quotes should be smaller to avoid taking up too much real estate on the page. To call more attention to the quote, you can nest it within a boxout.

Default quote styles are large, they’re intended to be quickly discovered and scanned, so it’s a great way to emphasize a key message. You can use them as-is, or with custom styles. This one adds a little bit of padding on the sides to create an indent effect.

“Clarkies have this great mindset of giving back to the community that they are a part of.”
