An eyebrow is similar to a heading, but usually less detailed.
An eyebrow assists visitors who scan the page — it provides context and “information scent” so that readers are better able to orient themselves and complete their tasks.
It provides a concise label that describes what comes next, and it is often — but not always — followed by heading that is more descriptive.
