Clark’s color palette offers flexibility on the web.
The institutional palette
Clark’s institutional color palette consists of Clark Red, White, Deep Red, and Warm Gray. These colors lead, and our secondary palette adds complementary and dynamic color schemes.
Because screens project light, colors like Clark Red can appear excessively bright, so we use Deep Red as the dominant color on the website. Use Clark Red for buttons and links against black backgrounds, or pair with Deep Red to create variety.

Secondary palette
When used to complement Deep Red, Clark Red, and Warm Gray, these colors help us create work that can range from formal to casual and from subtle to bold, as appropriate for the the site’s purpose and audience.
Use these palettes sparingly; secondary colors are to be used as accent colors and should not compete with red.

Neutrals
The unsung hero of the website is the neutral palette. It’s a set of grays that creates the backdrop for everything we do.
