Leadership through Feedback

LinkedIn Learning is available to Clark University employees as part of the university’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

How do I access LinkedIn Learning?

Click the Login to LinkedIn Learning button on this page and sign in using your Clark University credentials. LinkedIn Learning can also be accessed through the Web Services section of the ClarkYOU portal.

Am I required to take courses on LinkedIn Learning?

No. LinkedIn Learning is a professional development resource available to Clark employees. Courses are optional and may be completed at your own pace.

Do I need a LinkedIn profile to use LinkedIn Learning?

No. A LinkedIn profile is not required. You may choose to connect your personal LinkedIn account to your LinkedIn Learning account, but this is optional.

Can I connect my personal LinkedIn profile to LinkedIn Learning?

Yes. When accessing LinkedIn Learning for the first time, you will have the option to connect your personal LinkedIn profile. This allows LinkedIn Learning to provide course recommendations based on your interests and professional background. Connecting your profile is optional.

Can others see the courses I take?

Your learning activity within LinkedIn Learning is private unless you choose to share completed courses or certificates on your personal LinkedIn profile.

Can I complete courses at my own pace?

Yes. LinkedIn Learning courses are self-paced and available anytime, allowing you to learn when it fits your schedule.

Where can I find more detailed instructions for setting up my account?

Who should I contact if I have trouble accessing LinkedIn Learning?

What is “required training” in the learning hub?

Clark provides employees with periodic training on essential topics such as workplace conduct, Title IX, FERPA, and cybersecurity awareness. These trainings are hosted through our partner vendor, KnowBe4, and are designed to ensure all employees are equipped with the knowledge to support our university standards.

How will I know if I have training to complete?

You will receive an automated email notification whenever a new training module is assigned to you. Additionally, you can also log in to the KnowBe4 training portal at any time to view your assigned courses and completion status.

How do I access my training?

Click the Open Training Portal button located on this page. Once logged in with your Clark credentials, you will be directed to your personal KnowBe4 dashboard where all assigned courses will be visible.

What happens if I do not complete the training?

Completion of assigned training is a requirement under the Clark University Employee Handbook.

Employees who do not complete training by the deadline will receive follow-up reminders.

Continued non-compliance may lead to disciplinary action in accordance with university policy.

I logged in but don’t see any courses. Is something wrong?

Not necessarily. Courses only appear in the portal once they have been officially assigned. If your dashboard is empty and you have not received an assignment notification, you likely have no training at this time.

Can I complete training in multiple sessions?

Yes. Your progress is saved automatically. You can exit a module at any time and return to pick up exactly where you left off.

Who should I contact if I have trouble accessing the training?

For technical issues or specific questions about assigned courses, please contact the Office of Human Resources and Organizational Excellence.
