The Holocaust and other genocides are studied to enhance our understanding of the society from which we came, the society in which we live and the society to which we are giving shape.
The Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies offers an internship program for undergraduates in conjunction with Holocaust and genocide museums and memorials across the country and around the globe. The purpose of this program is to provide students the opportunity to bring knowledge they have gained in class to a public setting and, conversely, to learn how Holocaust museums and memorials educate a broad spectrum of visitors.
