The Goddard Library offers a variety of spaces and tools to facilitate a welcoming, comfortable, and productive environment. In addition to our collections, we offer the following spaces and equipment:

The library has a number of private spaces available for Clark students, faculty or staff, ranging in size from rooms for individual use, to rooms equipped with PCs and plasma displays for larger group meetings.

Student study spaces may be reserved for up to two hours, (and renewed for up to an additional two hours daily, depending on demand), up to eight hours weekly.

Faculty study carrels may be requested by faculty for four hours, and renewed for another four hours daily depending on demand.

The Fuller Music Room may be requested by Clark Academic Departments and Administrative Offices as required during the Library’s hours of operation.

Reserve a Room

students at desks in libraryOn the second floor of the Library, ITS has provided six computers for accessing online research resources in addition to an eleven seat instructional computer lab, with a dedicated instructor station.

The third floor of the Library, ITS has provided two groups of six computers that face Atwood Hall & Red Square, with an additional six computers in the fifth floor reading carrels that are closest to Downing Street, all for general use.

There are card swipe printers located in multiple locations in Goddard Library:

  • Academic Commons (plaza level at the ITS Help Desk) – black and white printer
  • Second Floor (room 207-across from the Library Service Desk)
    • Black and White Printer/Scan to Clark email address
    • Color printer
  • Second Floor (room 218) – black and white printer
  • Third Floor (room 321) – black and white printer
  • Fifth Floor (room 507) – black and white printer

Gender neutral bathrooms are located on the 1st floor (Academic Commons) by Archives. Gendered bathrooms are located on the 1st, 3rd and 4th floors of Goddard Library.
