Mission
The mission of the Goddard Library is to engage and inspire members of our university and the global community to develop individual passions, expand understanding, and create new knowledge to take bold action for the betterment of individuals, society, and our world through:
Providing expert information education and research support to our students, faculty, and all members of our community of researchers.
Curating, exhibiting, and preserving the historical materials of the Clark Archives and Special Collections to communicate Clark’s unique contributions to the world.
Designing events, displays, and opportunities for library engagement to engage students; shine light on the work of our community of researchers and creatives; and highlight Clark’s positive impact on society.
Facilitating access to expansive digital, print, and multimedia collections tailored to support learning, research, and creative works at Clark University.
Cultivating, developing, and maintaining dedicated spaces that meet the varied needs of our community, while inspiring intellectual curiosity, engagement, and growth.
