Alumni Profile: Matt Hopkins ’12, MFA ’20
After graduating from the Becker School of Design & Technology, Matt Hopkins ’12, MFA ’20, worked for several years as a technical specialist at the Becker school. He then landed a great position as a technical artist at RockStar New England, where he works on various properties.
Matt is as equally at home creating art assets as he is at crafting code or incredible lighting, textures, and other special video effects. For a peek at some of his work, visit his portfolio.
“The MFA program allowed me the time and freedom to fully explore my creativity,” Matt says. “I enjoyed the flexible class schedule because I pursued my degree and developed my passion project while still working. I also loved the access to labs and new technology on campus. The faculty are great; they are really invested in the success of the students.”
