Clark’s research programs are distinguished by their focus on addressing critical societal issues, seeking answers to fundamental questions that often extend across disciplines, and recasting conventional research questions in new and exciting ways.

The research performed by faculty and students associated with our MBA program is no different. Our community investigates topics that include accountability, ethical management practices, and environmental responsibility, bringing their findings to bear on our curriculum.

    Dr. Asilkalkan’s research encompasses a range of areas including business analytics, healthcare analytics, as well as the applications of model-based clustering and hidden Markov models. His research in healthcare analytics centers around the utilization of AI and machine learning algorithms to facilitate the decision-making process of healthcare providers.

    Dr. Eisner’s teaching interests include strategy, entrepreneurship, and organization theory, and is the recent co-author of a textbook: The 11th edition of “Strategic Management,” by McGraw-Hill.

    Dr. Yazdanparast studies the social psychology of consumer decision making. Her research focuses on how digital technology is changing, shaping, and challenging traditional consumer decision making.

Her work primarily explores the healthcare sector, where she believes that organizational learning can enhance patient care and promote the adoption of best practices.

    Helping small businesses grow through data


    Professor Dobson studies how home-based entrepreneurs use information systems to improve livelihoods and incomes, including the impact of entrepreneurial education and social networks on small-business performance.

  • Clark University’s Master of Business Administration program has been ranked among the top 100 programs in the country by the higher education analytics firm, QS Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The full-time MBA, which is offered through Clark’s School of Business, also ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. for diversity.

    Clark’s MBA placed 98th on the Best MBA Programs for 2026 published by QS. The organization considered various key ranking factors, including alumni outcomes, employability, value for money, thought leadership, and diversity.

    “The School of Business is immensely proud to receive recognition for its MBA program from QS this year,” said Dr. Jing Zhang, interim dean. “The program’s placement in QS’ top 100 rankings is a testament to the positive impacts of our business education experience, as well as the commitments of our students, faculty, staff, and accomplished alumni in ensuring the MBA continues to align with the latest in-demand skills and emerging fields.”

    Notably, the MBA also ranked highly with QS for its diversity, achieving a #5 ranking in the United States and #72 globally. The rankings reflect the trend thatClark University remains a destination of choice for students from around the world. Last year’s entering MBA class included students Clark from India, China, Nepal, and Thailand, among other countries.

    The QS ranking complements other recognition that the Business School has received. The School ranked #96 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024-2025 Best Business School – MBA list, and was included in The Princeton Review’s list of top business schools.     Professor Wang conducts behavioral research in management control systems, the impact of cultural values on financial reporting systems, business ethics and fraud, and accounting professionals’ decision-making.
