Credit for work experience

Applicants with three or more years’ experience in a managerial position may be eligible for a course and internship waiver, allowing for faster program completion.

  • Students are waived of the Experiential Learning Requirement (ELR) – Internship.
  • Students may be waived of one unit in MIS, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or Operations Management based on work experience.
  • Waivers are granted by the Graduate Admissions Review Committee at the time of admission. Note: Being accepted to the Professional Track does not guarantee a course waiver.
  • The total unit requirement for the program is 12 units, depending on waivers.
