According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, arts and design occupations continue to generate tens of thousands of job openings each year, with increasing demand for skills in digital media, content creation, and cross-platform design.
The Visual Arts program emphasizes interdisciplinary study and prepares students to work across traditional studio practices and emerging multimedia fields. Students can extend their learning through double majors or minors in areas such as interactive media, computer science, screen studies, art history, and business, building a flexible skill set that aligns with a wide range of creative careers.

Our graduates

Our graduates are also well-prepared for MFA programs and other advanced degrees. The Clark 4+1 master’s program offers an additional pathway, allowing students to earn a master’s degree in five years in areas such as teaching, business, communications, and interactive media.
