Chris is the founder of Boston Chair Massage, which provides chair massages at companies, universities, hospitals, and conferences throughout New England.  She received her massage therapy training at the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork and has been a licensed massage therapist since 1996.  In 2002, she started Boston Chair Massage when many of her table clients wanted to bring the benefits of massage they experienced to their workplace to share with their teams.  Today, Boston Chair Massage consists of a team of 30+ of the most talented massage therapists in the field.

Chris grew up in New Rochelle, New York, and studied social work at Clark University, where she earned a B.A. with a major in Sociology in 1993.  At Clark, Chris rowed on the Crew Team for 4 years and has fond memories of early morning runs to the boathouse at Lake Quinsigamond, where her team would row through the beautiful steam rising on the lake.  While in Worcester, Chris volunteered at the Mustard Seed Soup Kitchen and with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and later worked as a caseworker at the Key Program.

Chris is a Founding Member of the MA LGBT Chamber of Commerce and is excited to be part of the Clark LGBTQ+ Alumni Association.  Chris lives in Arlington, MA, with her wife, twin 14-year-olds, dog and two cats.
