Students often find that community engagement activities are some of the most empowering and memorable aspects of their time at Clark. The Community Engagement Office is committed to helping students access opportunities to explore their interests, build relationships, gain experience, and feel confident in their ability to make an impact on the community.
Get involved in volunteering
Contact the Community Engagement Office during drop-in hours: Monday-Thursday from 2-4pm during the academic year.
Attend the Community Engagement and Internship Fair. Each Fall, representatives from local organizations come to Clark in order to connect with students who are interested in volunteer or internship opportunities.
Check out the Clark Recruiter, the LEEP Center’s employment, internship, and volunteer database. Log into your ClarkYou account and locate the LEEP Center Clark Recruiter link on the left hand side of the page under “Web Services.”

Explore our more than 20 student groups that focus on social justice through advocacy or volunteer work. The Community Engagement Office can help connect you to student organizations that interest you.
Take part in Just Do It Day, held each April. The event recruits Clark students to volunteer at a variety of sites in the Worcester community. There are other one-day service projects offered throughout the year as well.
Consider a service trip such as Alternative Spring Break; or, if you are a Clark athlete, you can participate in the Clark Athletics Service-Learning Trip (CAST) in January. The CAST Trip offers student athletes an opportunity to engage in service around the world.
