Depending on the needs of the community in any given year, Dana Hall may be a mix of first-years and sophomores or exclusively first-years. Dana Hall houses approximately 157 students and several Resident Advisers in a variety of room configurations. Dana Hall is located along Florence Street on the the south side of the campus.  Dana Hall is within a short walk of Dana Commons, Carlson Hall, the Lasry Center for Bioscience, the Higgins University Center, and the Maywood Street, Hughes, and Bullock Residence Halls.

Please note because of the nearly endless variety of room sizes and shapes in the building, we cannot provide specific or even general room dimensions

Dana Hall features shared common space, including a large social lounge on the basement level, laundry facilities, a variety of kitchens, and semi-private bathrooms.

Dana Hall incorporates a variety of single, double, and triple rooms both in and outside of suites.  Rooms in suites share a bathroom and common area.  Other rooms share semi-private bathrooms and shared kitchens.  Suite style housing in Dana Hall is set up with 4 bedrooms per suite with either all double rooms or two double and two single rooms. All bedrooms in the suite are connected by a common room and bathroom.  Almost all rooms are unique in shape and size, but regardless of layout each room is equipped with beds and mattresses (extra long twins), desks, chairs, bookshelves, built in closets, and window drapes. Dana is also equipped with wifi, ethernet access, and free laundry for all residential students.

Please note, Dana does not have an elevator. If you believe you need a housing accommodation, please contact Student Accessibility Services.

The majority of bathrooms in this Residence Hall are gender inclusive.  Each bathroom is single stalled and lockable and contains a shower and toilet.  There are also a few gender inclusive bathrooms that have two stalls and two showers.
