Clark pitched in on Saturday, May 9, to host hundreds of students and teachers for the middle school portion of the Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fair. Above, faculty and graduate students joined industry professionals to serve as judges, and and the University’s events and facilities teams transformed the Kneller Center and Atwood Hall “into spaces where students could not only compete, but also feel like they are part of a larger community,” said Jennifer Hanselman, associate provost and dean of research.

Clark presented an award to one middle school student and, on April 9, gave out several merit awards to students at the High School State Fair in Worcester’s DCU Center.

“We’re deeply grateful to Clark University for hosting the Middle School State Fair and for the faculty, graduate students, and staff who helped create such a meaningful experience for our students. Thank you, Jennifer Hanselman, for your leadership and support. Partnerships like this help students across the Commonwealth truly see themselves in STEM,” the Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fair said in a LinkedIn post.
