The Clark University Police Department’s goal is to help create an exceptionally safe, secure campus for students, faculty, and staff to focus intently on excellent academics, research and public service.

We promote an inclusive, respectful environment for our global campus, and protect the free and civil exchange of ideas. CUPD operates 24/7, 365 days/year. Officers are Massachusetts State Special Police Officer certified and police academy trained, as well as armed and empowered to make arrests; and enforce all federal, state and local laws, ordinances and University policies within the jurisdictional areas allowed by the law.

CUPD officers are Emergency First Aid Responders and CPR certified. Officers are trained in crisis intervention, diversity sensitivity, advanced firearms training, victim awareness, sexual assault and domestic violence.
