Clark is committed to reviewing each department approximately every five years. The overarching purpose of the departmental review process is to promote reflection and improvement in pursuit of excellence. Each external review consists of three phases: a self-study, an external review team for site visit and report, and a departmental response and update of its strategic plans. The department and administration are jointly responsible for implementing suggestions made by the reviewers in cooperation with faculty governance committees and in accordance with the University’s strategic framework process.
