Who are you/What do you do?

I am an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in Easton, PA. Through collage, photography, social practice, and sculpture, I create visual narratives that often explore issues prevalent in society today and draw parallels to the past.

What are your career aspirations/what motivates you?

My goal is to grow as a practicing artist and educator. I am motivated to exhibit my work, connect with community, and share my passion for art with others.

How does the MFA in Visual Arts help you reach your objectives?

The MFA in Visual Arts has challenged me to expand my artistic practice, connected me to a supportive community, and demystified art world opportunities that previously felt out of reach.

Why did you choose the Clark MFA in Visual Arts over other possible options?

I chose the Clark MFA program because of its flexibility with my schedule, the partnership with MASS MoCA, its critique-based residency program, and the affordability in comparison to other graduate programs.

What would you tell a friend who is considering the program?

The faculty, Clark MFA candidates, and Art Plus Everywhere community are so supportive. They will push you to new levels in your art practice and research. My work has developed so much after my first year in this program and I feel more prepared to access opportunities as I move forward in my art career.
