Campaign Priorities

Clark University’s Campaign for What Matters Most is centered around our founder’s—Jonas Gilman Clark—opening address to the University, in which he described Clark’s “Plan and Purpose” for the new institution. Inspired by his initial remarks, our plan for this campaign is to do a few things supremely well at the intersection of our relationship with planet, technology, and one another as humans. Gifts to Clark’s campaign will empower our work in these three pillars, helping our community imagine and contribute our unique perspective and scholarship to better our world as individuals and a collective. Our purpose remains constant. Through our multidisciplinary, experiential education, we challenge each student to take action toward creating the world they envision. Clark’s new comprehensive campaign will empower the next generation to discover, explore, and change the status quo with their unconventional thinking. Now in our 139th year, Clark University’s “Plan and Purpose” campaign will transform Clark, ensuring it is anti-fragile, future-proof, and as relevant as ever.
