The Dean of the College is responsible for the development and implementation of undergraduate academic programs and policies, and the evaluation of teaching effectiveness.

The dean has broad responsibility for the undergraduate curriculum, cocurricular activities, faculty development, and advising, and works closely with the Undergraduate Academic Board (UAB), the major faculty committee that focuses on the academic experience at Clark.

Undergraduate Academic Board

The Undergraduate Academic Board is a faculty committee made up of six professors from multiple departments, three students appointed by the Undergraduate Student Council, and the dean of the college. The UAB focuses on the academic experience at Clark. They are the major group on campus that reviews majors, concentrations, and academic requirements, and assesses existing programs and requirements.

The Dean’s List

The Clark University Dean’s List, compiled after each semester, celebrates and honors students who achieve GPAs of 3.8 (first honors) and 3.5 (second honors) in the previous semester.
