Jess joined the Clark community in August of 2021 and currently serves as the Assistant Dean / Director of Community Living, where they oversee both the Office of Community Standards and Residential Life & Housing. In this role, Jess leads efforts to foster an inclusive and supportive residential experience while also guiding the University’s approach to student accountability, integrity, and care. Whether shaping a programming model to engage students today or crafting long-term strategy, Jess is committed to creating communities where students feel supported, challenged, and able to thrive.

Over the last ten years, Jess has worked in residence life and student affairs at several institutions, focusing on curriculum development, accessibility, and reducing barriers in Title IX and conduct processes. Jess earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies from Smith College and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with a focus on sexual violence prevention.

Originally from Rhode Island, Jess is proud to now call Massachusetts home. Outside of work, you can find Jess trying not to kill his houseplants, hunting down the best food MA has to offer, and catering to the whims of his two dogs.
