Namaste! I am Abhishek Janu, a Graduate Assistant and Master’s student in IT Project Management here at Clark University. Originally from Mumbai, India, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
I chose to join the Clark community specifically for its rich historical background and the incredible diversity of the student body. However, what truly drew me here was the faculty; learning directly from professors with deep industry backgrounds is invaluable. I am particularly passionate about Clark’s focus on experiential learning using real-world scenarios to solve complex problems rather than just studying theory. This hands-on approach perfectly bridges my technical engineering background with modern management strategies.
When I am not studying or assisting in the graduate office, I prioritize keeping my mind and body active through swimming and the gym. I am admittedly addicted to audiobooks and podcasts, constantly consuming new ideas on the go. My weekends are reserved for my favorite hobby: cooking. I challenge myself to create something new once a week and then play the role of “food critic” for my own dishes!
I speak English and Hindi fluently, and I am currently working on improving my French and Spanish. I look forward to welcoming you to the Clark community!
