Clark provides various financial aid opportunities to international undergraduate students. Each year a select number of first-year and transfer international students receive merit scholarships and need-based grants to attend Clark — reflecting the university’s recognition of the importance of diversity and strong global commitment.

How to Apply
All international students must complete the International Student Certification of Finances and Financial Assistance Application Form located on your Applicant Status Portal.
We are not able to offer financial assistance to cover the full cost of attendance. Our admissions process is need-aware, meaning that we will deny an application on financial grounds if the International Student Certification of Finances and Financial Assistance Application Form indicates greater need than we will be able to provide through merit scholarships and need-based financial aid. The International Student Certification of Finances and Financial Assistance Application Form is the only acceptable application for financial aid.
Clark does not accept the International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA).
Spring 2026 Applicants Only
International students applying for the Spring 2026 semester should submit the College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile at the time you apply. The CSS Profile is the only acceptable application for financial aid, and it must be submitted online to the College Board. Please refrain from emailing a copy of your application to the Admissions Office.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I am considered an international student?
You are an international student if you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
What is Clark’s current tuition?
View our current tuition rates. Your tuition and expenses may be adjusted according to your financial need. For more information, please contact a staff member in the Office of Student Accounts.
Can international students work to pay for their educational expenses?
Although there are a limited number of part-time, on-campus jobs for international students, the income from these jobs is only sufficient to provide “pocket money”; you will not earn enough income to pay for a significant portion of your educational expenses. The U.S. government prohibits international students from working outside the University.
Can international students and their families take out private loans?
Yes. There are private loans available for international students. However, we strongly encourage families to consider all the ways to pay for an education before applying for any private alternative loan.
Does Clark offer payment plans for international students and their families?
Yes. Learn more about payment plans available to international students and their families through the Student Accounts Office.
Does Clark offer a “discount” if I can pay for all four years at once?
Clark offers families the option of fixing the tuition rate for four years at the first-year level. To do this, families pay four years of tuition the first year, thereby “locking” into the first year’s tuition rate. Arrangements can be made by contacting the Director of Student Accounts at 1-508-421-3801.
