Research

Our faculty and students conduct research across a range of fields, including urban and regional economics, environmental and resource economics, monetary economics, international trade, development economics, labor economics, and industrial organization. We also collaborate with colleagues across the School of Climate, Environment, and Society to foster interdisciplinary research that deepens our understanding of environmental challenges and informs policymakers.

Faculty research

Our economics faculty collaborate frequently with students, with colleagues in other Clark departments, and with fellow economists across the globe, publishing their findings in top economics journals.

Doctoral research

Clark doctoral students have studied international trade; spatial, urban, and environmental economics; economic development; industrial organization; and applied econometrics, among other topics.
