Accounting, B.S.
Curriculum
The accounting curriculum provides a strong foundation in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and managerial accounting, while also gaining proficiency in data analysis, financial technology, and regulatory compliance.
Your coursework will prepare you to assess financial risks, interpret complex data, and provide strategic insights that drive business success. Through hands-on projects, real-world case studies, and collaborative learning, you’ll strengthen your ability to communicate financial information effectively and apply accounting principles in professional settings.
Hands-on learning
You’ll apply accounting skills to real-world experiences. Engage in case studies, financial analysis projects, and community-based initiatives, such as participating in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) programs, where students help low-income individuals with tax preparation.
With internships and capstone projects, you’ll gain practical experience that strengthens your resume before you even graduate.
