Dr. Neena Verma joined Clark University in May 2026 as Director for Strategic Analytics, Assessment, and Institutional Research. She reports to the Provost and Chief Academic Officer. Neena brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education administration, institutional research, strategic analytics, assessment, accreditation, and data-informed decision-making across public and private institutions in the United States.
Prior to joining Clark University, Neena held senior institutional research and analytics roles at Boston University, the University of Massachusetts President’s Office, and Alder Graduate School of Education. Her work has focused on data governance, academic program review, institutional effectiveness, performance measurement, accreditation, and the development of analytics and dashboarding solutions to support institutional leadership and student success initiatives.
In addition to her administrative leadership, Neena serves as adjunct faculty teaching courses in sociology and interdisciplinary social science. She recently completed her certification in online course development through the Quality Matters Program, reflecting her commitment to accessible, high-quality, and student-centered online education.
Dr. Verma holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Toronto (Canada), an MA in Sociology from Marquette University (WI), and an MS and MPhil in Social Anthropology from Delhi University (India). Her personal hobbies include college mentoring, volunteering, knitting, and cooking.
