Leadership at the School of Management

To the Clark Community,

We are pleased to announce that Dr. David A. Jordan, MPA ’02, has been appointed to a three-year term as dean of the School of Management, effective immediately. David, who has been serving in an interim capacity since August 2023, will now serve as dean of the School until June 30, 2027. The decision to appoint David the dean was made in consultation with, and with the strong support of, the School of Management’s faculty, staff, and students.

In his time as interim dean – and drawing on his extensive career in business and nearly 20 years as an adjunct professor at Clark – David has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and ability to execute big ideas. Since last August, he has brought a new energy and focus and, along with the team at the School of Management, has developed bold plans for the future of the School. We are confident that with David’s continued leadership the School of Management will realize its full promise and potential, and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about his partnership with us and the other academic deans at Clark.

Please join us in congratulating Dean Jordan on his long-term appointment.

Sincerely,

David Fithian ’87
