Clark offers Office 365 for free to current Clarkies. With this license, you can install the most common Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) on up to five personal Windows or Mac devices.

Adobe Products
  • Clark University offers Adobe Express and Adobe Acrobat Professional to active Faculty and Staff.
  • Students can use Adobe products on Clark public computers on campus.
  • Students who have declared a major or course of graduate study in our School of Media Arts, Computing, Technology, and Design may also be eligible for a full Creative Cloud license. Please contact your department for more information.
  • If a faculty member, staff member, or department needs access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud for work purposes, it will be available for their department to purchase from ITS for $72 a year per user.

Cloud Storage: Microsoft OneDrive

GIS: ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, Terrset

Clark has a limited license for ArcGIS Pro and ClarkLabs (Terrset) products.

  • Students: Please contact your professor if you need access to ESRI products.

LinkedIn Learning

LMS: Canvas and Other Academic Tools

Clark uses Instructure Canvas as our Learning Management System. This is enhanced with Turnitin, Kaltura, Zoom and other academic software. Click here for more information on Canvas.

Math Software: MatLab and Simulink

Clarkies can install MatLab and/or Simulink on personal devices by registering here with your Clark email address.

Online Meetings: Zoom and Microsoft Teams

All Clarkies have fully-licensed accounts (previously called Pro accounts), which allow meetings for up to 24 hours, with up to 300 participants.

All Clarkies have access to a Teams account with their Clark account. Microsoft Teams not only allows online meetings, but is a powerful communication and teamwork tool that allows Clarkies to keep working and learning regardless of where they are on campus or around the world. Teams is the perfect tool for regular, small team or person-to-person collaboration and meetings.

Password Manager: LastPass

Clark University has partnered with LastPass to provide a premium password manager to Faculty/Staff for institutional use.

Additionally we can now offer LastPass upgrades to all Clarkies for personal use – Students can receive a free upgrade to LastPass Premium; and Staff and Faculty can have free access to LastPass Family.

NVIVO is available for installation on personal devices on a very limited basis for faculty, staff and students with an academic need for this software.

Reference Management: EndNote

EndNote is a reference manager that helps you save time formatting citations, so you can focus on your research.

SPSS is available for installation on personal devices on a very limited basis for faculty, staff and students with an academic need for this software.

Survey Software: Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms

Clark University is happy to provide its community members with two different tools to create online surveys and forms: Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms.

VPN: GlobalProtect

Clark University uses GlobalProtect as our Virtual Private Network client. Global Protect is available for Windows, Mac, Linux and mobile devices and is required to connect to protected Clark resources when off-campus.
