Visit the Higgins Institute
We are located on the second floor of Dana Commons on the edge of Clark’s main campus near the corner of Florence and Maywood Streets in Worcester. In addition to our office, we maintain two event spaces designed to support community, collegiality, and dialogue—the Higgins Lounge and the Higgins Atrium. The Higgins Lounge is now fully equipped with smart-room technology. Both spaces can be reserved by Clark faculty, staff, and registered student organizations.
To reserve the Higgins Lounge or Higgins Atrium:
- Faculty and staff should submit requests via the Event Management System. All bookings are considered tentative until the Higgins Institute confirms the reservation and provides usage guidelines.
- Student clubs and organizations must submit requests through the Office of Student Leadership and Programming. Please note that the presence of a faculty or staff advisor is required for all events hosted by student groups in the Higgins Lounge.
There are several options for parking near the Higgins Institute. Free parking is available on Florence and Maywood Streets, but we encourage guests to avoid areas reserved for residents or restricted by temporary parking bans issued by the City of Worcester. Invited guests may also request a short-term permit from the Higgins Institute to utilize Clark’s parking garage.
