Winter storm update

We once again extend tremendous thanks to you all for the collective teamwork in managing the significant snowfall. This has proven to be the historic event that was predicted —here in Worcester, and across Massachusetts and our neighboring states. 

To give more time for street clearing and overall municipal and state response, we are extending through tomorrow our request that only essential employees in critical student facing roles travel to and park on campus. All other employees should work remotely. If you have questions regarding your role and responsibility, please contact your supervisor. 

Since much of campus is clear, in-person classes can resume. However, faculty should determine the best modality for teaching and communicate directly with their students, especially given the State of Massachusetts efforts to reduce travel on highways and major arteries.
