A piece of Skye Donaldson ’26, MAT ’27, will remain part of Clark even after their time on campus ends. With the support of a 2025 Sara Bickman Music and Arts Summer Internship Award, Donaldson painted a bright mural on the second floor of the Goddard Library that boasts a motivational message for students: “Small progress is still PROGRESS. Keep going one step at a time.” The studio art major hopes to become an art teacher, and will complete Clark’s Master of Arts in Teaching program following commencement.
In 2024, Donaldson became an inaugural member of the Clark University chapter of the Kappa Pi Art Honors Society. They were also a member of the Black Student Union, Hip Hop Collabo and a peer mentor during their time as a Clarkie.
