Supriya Khadke (GISDE '2014)

Supriya Khadke (USA) received a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy concentrating in Marine Coastal Management, and a minor in Art History from the University of Maryland in 2010. As an undergraduate she interned with the University's Geology Department, analyzing rock samples from subduction zone regions, and at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), aiding in research projects along the Chesapeake Bay. After graduation, Supriya spent time traveling, working at REI, and working as an environmental scientist for a consulting group near Washington, D.C. She hopes to expand her knowledge of GIS and be able to apply her skills toward coastal conservation efforts around the country.
