Mission Statement

The mission of the Career Connections Center is to cultivate lifelong professional and career success for Clark students and alumni.

We accomplish this by providing education and access to opportunities and experiences that leverage our global community of alumni, employers, faculty, social networks, and local partners.

Our Method

In support of students’ post-graduation ambitions, the Career Connections Center offers undergraduate students a suite of resources — advising, mentoring, opportunities, funding, and programming to help them:​

​The Career Connections Center, part of the Division of Student Success, works closely with employers, alumni, and partners to connect them with Clark students for full-time, part-time, and summer internship opportunities.

Our Career Advising Model

Career Advisers help students clarify their life-after-Clark path and develop a general strategy for moving forward. Career advisers talk to students about how to get started and also help them:

  • Explore values, interests, and skills
  • Gain practical experience
  • Strategize your job and internship search
  • Research graduate or professional schools
  • Find the intersectionality of your interests, identity, and career
  • Connect and integrate your Clark experiences
  • Leverage your Clark network

ClarkCONNECT Career Communities expand student awareness of the breadth and depth of what Clarkies do after graduation. With ClarkCONNECT and its virtual communities, students have unprecedented access to alumni mentors and the opportunity to engage in relevant topics and trends.
