Campus was busy and buzzing on Wednesday afternoon as dozens of undergraduate students showed off their latest research and creative endeavors during ClarkFEST, the University’s biannual showcase of academic excellence.

ClarkFEST included research posters in Tilton Hall, interactive media exhibits in the Center for Media Arts, Computing, and Design, and oral presentations across campus. Poster topics included “Ritual Refreshments,” an exploration of food and religion in ancient Greek cities through art; a comparative analysis of microbiome adaptations between legume crops; a study of the psychology of disruptive tactics among climate activists, and much more.

More than 150 research projects were on display throughout the event, highlighting work completed under the mentorship of faculty and staff.
