April Carlson is a seasoned grants and operations specialist with extensive experience in accounting and research administration.
She recently served as the Research Grant Portfolio and Operations Manager at Clark University’s George Perkins Marsh Institute, where she supported a diverse portfolio of sponsored projects, strengthened financial systems, and partnered with faculty to advance complex research initiatives.
Before joining Clark, April spent 11 years at Quinsigamond Community College in general and grants accounting, including serving as Grant Accounting Manager.
April holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Becker College, grounding her work in strong organizational, financial, and leadership principles.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her spending time with her son and nephews, enjoying live music with friends, or planning her next Disney adventure.
