Christina Gerhardt, the Henry J. Leir Endowed Chair in Foreign Languages and Cultures in the Department of Language, Literature, and Culture, and Stephen Levin, professor of English, are the co-founders and co-directors of the Environmental Humanities program at Clark. They will moderate this panel discussion, which will also feature Odile Ferly, associate professor of language, literature, and culture, and Nana Kesse, assistant professor of history. The professors will explore various aspects of the new program and answer questions — starting with what is the environmental humanities, in practice?
