“When I’m talking to students, I am always looking for folks who have drive, who are kind and are interested in youth development. We love students who can come in with fresh ideas for social media. As someone who grew up in Worcester, I feel like Clark has a really good reputation of showcasing Worcester to its students. Students are new to this area but they want to dive in and make themselves part of the ecosystem.”

Katherine Aguilar, Director of People and Culture at girls inc.

“The hard skills are actually the least important — the ability to think critically is the most important skill. We’re looking for people who are willing to experiment, to be persistent, who will exercise their creative muscle, because how AI will be used in the future is going to change.”

“We’re hoping to find students interested in serving a cause greater than themselves, especially folks who like working with the future generation and giving back to their communities. We look for a lot of teamwork and collaboration skills, communication, and social-emotional intelligence.”

“We have 81 different field sites where we do tangible ecological research and produce 100% open-source data. The job is 70% field work and 30% in the lab. I tell students that if they like being in the field, this is the place to be.”
