Each summer, students in the Advancing Clark Excellence (ACE) Summer Institute arrive on campus early to jumpstart their college careers. ACE, a program for incoming Clarkies, especially those who identify as first-generation and/or students of color, gives students a chance to build friendships and explore campus before the semester starts. They participate in courses, leadership workshops, and engage in community service.

This summer, ACE students volunteered for the Community Harvest Project, a local farm in Grafton that provides fresh produce to families and communities that experience food insecurity, and networked with President David Fithian ’87 and other college administrators during a welcome dinner.
