Join Beth Rogan, Director of Educational Partnerships at William James College, for an informative discussion on career paths in psychology and behavioral health. This session will explore your career options and first steps in the field; introduce the Behavioral Health Service Corps, a paid gap‑year program offering two free college courses; and provide an overview of graduate programs including Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Organizational Psychology. Additional topics include levels of training (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees), differences between PhD and PsyD programs, scope of practice and licensure, working with underrepresented populations, multicultural and global mental health, field training opportunities, career settings, specialties, and preparation for graduate school.
