How can we work together to develop adaptable, highly skilled talent prepared to contribute today and lead through future economic and technological change?
To answer that question, Clark University is bringing together faculty and staff, employers, community organizations, workforce development leaders, higher education partners, and government officials. Invited participants include leaders from sectors such as life sciences; education; health and human services; business and finance; technology and digital innovation; climate tech/green tech; government, law, and politics; and advanced manufacturing.
Throughout the day, participants will discuss workforce trends, emerging skill needs, experiential learning, artificial intelligence, and innovative approaches to strengthening college-to-career pathways. Most importantly, the convening moves beyond conversation to collaboration by identifying concrete opportunities for partnership and collective action.
Registration is required, and space is limited.
The day will include:
- A workforce leadership panel featuring state, industry, and workforce development leaders
- Interactive exhibits highlighting innovative education programs and initiatives designed to prepare students for careers
- Cross-sector discussions on AI and workforce readiness
- Design labs focused on developing actionable initiatives and partnerships (a great session if you are developing a program advisory board, experiential education opportunities, exploring career pathways for students, or seeking a collaborative grant)
- Networking opportunities with regional leaders in education, industry, government, and community organizations
