This library workshop introduces participants to the principles of Open Access (OA) publishing, exploring what it is, why it matters, and how to engage with it in their own research. Participants will define Open Access, learn strategies for finding and evaluating OA resources, consider both the risks and benefits of publishing openly and recognize how the library can support this endeavor. By the end of the session, participants will understand how OA scholarship continues to shape the future of academic publishing.
