Latine/Latinx Heritage Month, observed from September 15 to October 15, is a national celebration of the histories, cultures, and contributions of Latine/Latinx people. The observance begins in mid-September as a nod to the anniversaries of national independence for several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile. It is a time for community, celebration, and recognition among our Latine community members. Their achievements, contributions, and efforts offer inspiration to others in honoring their heritage, cultures, and experiences. We hope that you engage in our Latine/Latinx Heritage Month programs to gather, honor, and learn as we observe the month at Clark University, beginning with our kick-off event, ¡Fiesta!
Join us for a taste of Latin food, music, dance, and culture. We welcome all students, faculty, staff, and alumni to join us in celebration.
