Dr. Anita Say Chan will discuss her most recent book and her experiences working with the Illinois Data Clinic.
Dr. Chan serves as professor at the School of Information Science, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champagne. She will discuss her recent book entitled Predatory Data: Eugenics in Big Tech and our Fight for an Independent Future (U California Press, 2025).
