This workshop explores more advanced ways faculty and students can use AI for writing, research, and discipline-specific work. We’ll examine tools and approaches including Consensus, Gemini Notebook (previously NotebookLM), Discourse, and customized Microsoft Copilot agents. We’ll also consider how faculty can move beyond general-purpose chatbots to design AI tools and workflows around particular learning goals.
Workshops will be led by Mark Jacobs, a Clark alum, part-time faculty member, and Faculty Fellow for AI Pedagogy. Mark has deep experience in teaching and learning and most recently has been developing the Soc-AI-tic Lab for Collaborative Pedagogy.
