Winter storm update

A few updates and reminders regarding the winter storm now underway. Weather predictions are fluctuating however we continue to expect snowfall through at least early morning tomorrow (Monday) with the potential for significant accumulations.

Dining

Dining services hours have been revised for tomorrow (Monday), as follows:

• The Table at Higgins will open as scheduled at 7 a.m. for light breakfast. Full, hot breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m.
• The Bistro will open at 10 a.m.
• Cougar Café will have a delayed opening until at least noon. We will share updates as the schedule becomes more certain.

Classes

Faculty will be communicating directly with their students regarding any changes in the modality of classes for Monday (in person or remote). 

Remote Work

The University has asked all non-student facing employees to work remotely tomorrow to reduce travel to campus. If you have questions or concerns please contact your direct supervisor for guidance.

City streets

The City of Worcester has asked drivers not use city streets beginning at 6 p.m. this evening so that they can keep roadways clear.
