Aviva Davis is a queer therapist of color from California. She received her Master’s degree in social work from Smith College School for Social Work in 2024. Aviva has worked with folks of all ages, including families and groups. She has experience working with individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, eating disorders, schizophrenia, acute trauma and crisis, mood disorders, dementia, depression, and anxiety. They are passionate about working with queer and BIPOC individuals, valuing and validating others’ perspectives and emotions, trusting that each individual is the expert of their own experience, and honoring the intersectional experiences of those from oppressed and minoritized backgrounds. Aviva also enjoys incorporating art, music, and play into their work, and welcomes all forms of creative expression in the therapeutic space. Outside of work, Aviva is part of a queer choir in Boston, and teaches line dance to her community.
