Mary is a licensed mental health counselor raised in Worcester. She graduated from the University of New Haven with a bachelor’s in criminal justice with a concentration in forensic psychology, and received her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Southern Connecticut State University. She is also a nationally certified counselor. Mary comes to CPG with experience in counseling outreach and programming on a college campus. Clinically, she has an integrative approach that combines mindfulness-based practices, acceptance and commitment therapy, person-centered approaches, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She enjoys working with college students and assisting them with the various transitions and challenges that they may encounter in life.  Mary loves being creative (specifically painting, drawing, and writing), reading, putting together furniture (strange, but true), and spending time with family and friends.
