Assessments
The Career Connections Center offers career assessments to support your exploration and decision‑making process. Using tools like the Strong Interest Inventory, students can gain insight into their interests, strengths, and potential career paths.
Assessments are paired with one‑on‑one conversations with a career advisor to help you reflect on results and identify next steps. To book an assessment, please schedule an appointment in Handshake.
Career coaching
Clark University undergraduate students work one on one with our career advisors. Our career advisors have extensive career advising experience and are connected to industry trends, so they understand the market and employer needs.
Networking
Clark University has over 37,000+ alumni on LinkedIn. Our alumni actively engage with our students through networking events, alumni panels, career fairs, job shadow programs, and informational conversations.

Career advisors support your internship search. Additionally, the Career Connections Center also supports students looking to get credit for their internship through our Academic Internship Program and obtain funding through Opportunity Funding and Project Onramp.

How do I make an appointment with a career advisor?
To schedule an appointment with a career advisor, please follow these steps:
- Log in to Handshake with your Clark email and password.
- Navigate to Career Center > Appointments in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click on “Schedule a New Appointment” and choose the correct category “School of Professional Studies” as the advising office.
- Select your desired topic (e.g., Resume Review) and preferred date/time.
- Complete the required questions and submit your request.
